Crockpot Hot Chocolate Recipe

Slow cooker hot chocolate is the richest, creamiest, and most indulgent! This easy-to-make crockpot hot chocolate works for parties and satisfys even the largest chocolate appetites.


2 Ghirardelli semi-sweet chocolate bars 4-ounces each, coarsely chopped 1 Ghirardelli 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate bar 4-ounces, coarsely chopped 7 cups whole milk 1 cup heavy cream OR half-and-half 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14-ounces (see note below) pinch of fine sea salt 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract Optional Toppings whipped cream marshmallows candy cane pieces chopped peppermint bark salted caramel sauce


The ingredients should be placed in a big slow cooker, and the slow cooker should be heated at a low temperature for two hours.
