– 6 to 7 slices Texas toast – 2 large eggs (lightly beaten) – ¼ cup (60 ml) whole milk – ¼ cup (60 ml) heavy cream – 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract – 1 tablespoon (12 grams) granulated sugar – ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Bake french toast sticks at 350°F (180°C). Lightly spray a large baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray and parchment paper. Divide Texas toast lengthwise into 3.

Beat softly beaten eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, and vanilla in a shallow baking dish. Add ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon and 1 tablespoon granulated sugar to a small bowl.

Mix eggs with cinnamon sugar. Apply egg mixture to each slice of bread quickly. After draining, place on baking sheet with spacing between.

After 10 minutes, use tongs to flip each one over. For the last 6–10 minutes of baking, make the french toast sticks hard and done. Take it out of the oven.
